ARC Raiders Expedition 5 Coin Farming Guide for Smarter Runs With U4N

The Expedition 5 launch changes the way players should approach money in ARC Raiders. Instead of treating every raid as an opportunity to collect everything possible, it makes more sense to focus on quick, repeatable runs that build stash value before the departure reset. Players also need to think carefully about which ARC Raiders BluePrints are worth keeping because normal inventory and coins will not survive the reset.

For anyone preparing for departure, the same principle applies to ARC Raiders BluePrints: temporary wealth should eventually become something useful that can carry forward. That means choosing efficient loot routes, using inexpensive equipment, and avoiding fights that add risk without improving the final value of your stash.

Build Your Runs Around Dense Loot

Short runs are usually easier to manage than long raids. A four-to-ten-minute route gives you enough time to gather valuable items without exposing yourself to unnecessary PvP or spending too much time traveling across the map.

Stella Montis is particularly useful for this approach. The Assembly workshop, cabinets, and engine breaches are close enough together to form a compact farming loop. A five-to-seven-minute route around the Assembly area can provide a strong hourly return when repeated consistently. Once your backpack is in good shape, a nearby Raider Hatch can also save valuable time on the way out.

Buried City works well when you prefer indoor locations. The Red Tower, Santa Maria roofs and attics, and the bridge building offer several concentrated loot opportunities. A clean run can produce around 70k–100k coins, depending on what you find and how quickly you extract.

Lush Bloom becomes more attractive when its events are active. The corrugated sheet-metal areas and basket routes can produce a much stronger return than ordinary farming. Chaining several baskets during one run and leaving immediately is generally more efficient than staying around after the valuable targets have been collected.

Dam Battlegrounds is a useful fallback when you want something less demanding. The west-side apartments and Great Mullen can provide stackable materials such as agave and prickly pears. The return is lower, but the route can be useful when your priority is safe and consistent accumulation.

Keep Your Loadout Cheap

There is little reason to bring expensive equipment into an economy run. Losing a costly weapon while trying to collect coins simply reduces the value of the entire trip.

A budget weapon with light ammunition is normally enough. Bring three basic bandages and three shield chargers, along with a small number of inexpensive healing or mobility items if you need them. The purpose of the loadout is to survive ordinary encounters rather than dominate every fight.

The Looting MK2 augment deserves early attention because additional backpack space directly improves your income. Its secure pockets can protect valuable finds, while the extra trinket capacity gives you more flexibility when deciding what to carry.

A crafted Raider Hatch Key is also valuable for these runs. When your backpack contains the best loot of the day, having a fast escape option can be more useful than carrying another expensive weapon.

Know When a Match Is Already Lost

Timing has a major effect on your hourly income. When you enter a fresh match, head directly toward your chosen high-density loot area. Every unnecessary minute spent wandering reduces the number of runs you can complete.

Late spawns require a different mindset. If the match has already been active for more than five minutes, assume that major locations may have been looted. Do not spend another fifteen minutes trying to recover the original plan. Instead, check secondary locations along your route toward extraction and leave within roughly five minutes.

Inventory decisions matter just as much. Trinkets generally provide excellent value for the amount of space they occupy. When the backpack is full, consider breaking down lower-value items into basic materials such as metals, plastics, or rubber rather than leaving useful inventory space empty.

Turn Temporary Wealth Into Permanent Value

The final stage of Expedition preparation is spending your accumulated wealth correctly. Hoarding coins until departure is pointless if those coins disappear with the character reset.

Ermal is especially important here. Once the Nomadic Envoys trader is unlocked at level 25, players can spend currency on up to five Expedition Vault Slots. These slots provide a way to preserve valuable weapons, armor, and blueprints that would otherwise be lost.

This should influence your farming target from the beginning. Instead of asking how many coins you can collect, think about how much permanent value you can secure before departure.

Make Every Coin Work

Once your important Vault Slots are covered, deal with the remaining temporary wealth rather than carrying it toward the reset. Permanent cosmetics and available unlocks are much more useful than coins that are about to disappear. Raider Tokens, credits, and cosmetics are protected, so they can be treated separately from ordinary coins.

A disciplined player can also use this preparation period to buy ARC Raiders Items when doing so provides a practical advantage for the next stage of progression. The key is to avoid spending simply because you have currency available and instead prioritize purchases that support your longer-term plans.

Play for Consistency

Expedition 5 coin farming does not need to be complicated. Use inexpensive gear, target dense loot areas, extract quickly, and avoid fights that do not improve your return. Several short successful runs are usually more valuable than one ambitious raid that ends with everything lost. The biggest change in mindset is understanding that coins are temporary resources. Your real objective is to convert them into permanent value before departure. Once you approach farming this way, every route, inventory decision, and purchase becomes much easier to judge.
