  Gearing Priorities

  Regardless of whether you farm gear or Path of Exile 2 Currency for shortcuts, these are the stats to look for.

  Wand, Focus, or Staff

  Look for:

  +# to Cold/All Spell Skills
  % Extra Cold/Lightning/Fire Damage
  Spell Damage
  Crit Chance & Crit Multi
  Cast Speed
  Energy Shield / Mana

  Armor

  Aim for:

  High ES
  Mana
  Resistances
  Intelligence

  Jewelry

  Rings: Mana, Resists, Energy Shield, Regen, Attributes
  Belt: Resists, Mana, Strength if needed
  Amulet: Spell Skill Levels, %ES, flat ES, cast speed, mana regen

  Jewels

  Mana on Kill
  Crit Damage
  Any strong spell-critical modifiers

  Passive Tree and Ascendancy Path

  Even though the in-game tool may occasionally display the wrong ascendancy (Stormweaver instead of Chronomancer), the recommended order remains:

  1. Quicksand Hourglass - huge gains to AoE and cast speed
  2. Now and Again - cooldown recovery for Eye of Winter setups
  3. Time Snap - essential for rapid-cast spell setups
  4. Apex of the Moment (or Temporal Rift, depending on mana needs)

  Early in progression, take Spell Damage, Cold Damage, and Elemental Damage nodes before spec'ing fully into poe2 trade site Crit.
